The Delia Group is dedicated to serving the Metro Detroit community and we will be featuring some of our favorite community members and local business owners to spread the love!
This month we are so happy to introduce you to Hillary + Gregg Warner, owners of the brand new juice bar in Troy, simply called Juice Bar! A few of us walked over last week for a midday snack (they are right across the street from our Troy office) and we all LOVED our juices & smoothies! It was such a nice treat to get something delicious yet healthy for an afternoon pick-me-up!
Gregg and I started this journey almost 3 years ago! He had always wanted to be have his own business. At the same time, he was wishing for a healthy smoothie option after working out. He married the two wishes and here we are! I Love Juice Bar was exactly what we believe in and what we wanted for ourselves, so we brought it to Michigan! I Love Juice Bar provides fresh juices, smoothies and food. We are v ...

Kit + Kathy Got Married
A Delia Group Love Story
On Saturday, June 23 2018 one of our Agents, Kit Kymla, married one of our ISA's, Kathy Reid, and our hearts are so full of excitement about this! Kit wrote a little bit about their story below.
In November of 2014 I was loving my job, my coworkers and my life. I had recently moved from Marina Del Rey California to my home town in the Metro Detroit area to be closer to family and long time friends. The City was in a Renaissance and I embraced it with both arms. Much like every other single 30 something, I was on the "dating sites" and meetup.com. I wasn't looking for anything serious, just someone to couple up with at game night and an adventure buddy who likes week day bowling as much as I do.
My first date with Kathy was bowling, the second was Glow Golf and the third was Thanksgiving dinner at my fathers house in Novi. Kathy was finishing school at U of M and her family was in Texas. Due to a heavy final proje ...

It’s already Mid-April and planting season is right around the corner, I think! I worked at my Uncle’s nursery, Leppek Nursery and Garden Center in Brighton, through high school and college. Through my experience, Mother’s Day weekend is the planting kick-off in Michigan. So, this gives us around a month to get those flower beds ready! Here are my tips to make your garden beautiful and full of blooms all summer long.
Clean up leaves and debris before the blooms
Time to get out the blower and yard bags, for us city people, and get all the flower beds ready for the season. It’s much easier to clear unwanted weeds and left-over leaves from Fall before your current plants begin to bloom. It will also aide with the weeding throughout the summer! Weeds are easier to pull in the wet Spring soil ??
Trim Trees, shrubs, and bushes missed in Winter
With this step you must check the plants to make sure you aren’t tri ...

1. Add some fun hardware.
Whether it’s adding a unique door knob plate or funky house number. Adding fun door hardware and make your exterior stand out and can give the house a retro feel before you even walk in.
2. Replace a light fixture with a MCM chandelier.
In a kitchen, or a living room, adding a mid-century modern-esque chandelier can give your house that perfect retro feel. Starburst chandeliers or Sputnik chandeliers are a perfect choice.
3. Cover a wall in Mid-Century Modern wallpaper.
Stay in black and white or give your walls some color, you can’t go wrong with this sweet MCM pop.
